This fall, the The Dominion Club is hosting a special Heritage Cares charity event benefiting both the Caring Closet and the Heritage Cares Foundation — and we’ll be sharing more details soon!

But first, we want you to know a little more about the organization behind this incredible initiative.

Established in 2023, the Heritage Cares Foundation was created by Heritage Golf Group to provide financial assistance to employees facing unexpected hardships and life emergencies. In just a few years, the foundation has raised nearly $2 million, provided more than $250,000 in aid to over 70 Heritage Golf Group employees, and supported more than 40 local charities.

Each year, Heritage Golf Group's clubs host a Heritage Cares charity event, with the funds split evenly between the Heritage Cares Foundation and a local charity selected by the club. This unique approach allows each club to make a meaningful difference in its own community while also supporting Heritage employees in times of need.

We are so grateful that the Dominion Club has chosen the Caring Closet as its local charity partner this year! 💙

Stay tuned for more information about this fall's event and how you can be part of making a difference in our community!

We're beyond grateful for the incredible young people in our community who are making a difference! 💙

Today we're celebrating Keira, a local high school student and the creator of The Connection Closet, who chose to support the Caring Closet through a school community impact project.

Passionate about upcycling, thrifting, and clothing recycling, Keira led educational workshops to raise awareness about the importance of giving clothing a second life. She also organized a fundraiser where local teens designed custom t-shirts that were auctioned off, with every dollar benefiting the Caring Closet, raising $240!

Keira, thank you for using your talents to serve others and for inspiring your peers to make a difference. We can't wait to see all the amazing things you'll accomplish in the future! 💙
