Sometimes I come across a pattern and my brain immediately starts thinking, “Okay… but what if I tried it with different fibers?” 😊
Hey friends! 👋🏻 It’s been a little while since I’ve shared a project here, and this one felt like the perfect one to come back with.
When I found Machine by Zess crochet 🧶 Patrons, kits & astuces crochet I fell in love the moment I saw it! Isn’t she so whimsical and magical?
One of my favorite parts of making is experimenting with materials.
I love mixing chenille, novelty yarns, fabric, and different textures to see how much they can change the personality of a design…and this pattern checked every single box for me.
The designer asks that these dolls be made for personal use only, so these two won’t be joining my shop. I’m just so thankful for patterns that inspire me to try something new.
If you’ve been following my stories, you’ll know I’m officially over a month into my self-imposed yarn ban. 😆 These magical little friends are made entirely from scraps and leftover bits from my stash, which somehow makes me love them even more.
Tell me I’m not the only one who starts mentally swapping yarns before I’ve even bought the pattern. 😄
