This St. Paddy’s festival is our BIGGEST yet – brace yourselves for two days of music, markets, and plenty of merry-making. Six bands, two days of unique finds featuring the creative souls of LYH Market, and one St. Paddy’s 5k with Park View Community Mission, starting and ending at The Water Dog.

I don’t always do great at sharing the good s**t but here it is…the good s**t. First, HUGE shout out to Cloud Bobby for the unbelievable photography, for capturing what we are all feeling/experiencing one still shot at a time and for 5 Points Music Sanctuary from the top down, for continuing to provide an atmosphere that attracts such amazing artists, all of whom rave about their times there.
Now… I gotta give a LOUD ASS shout out the boys in Sicard Hollow for rocking the Show Me the Dyes shirts on stage the other night. Parrish Gabriel straight pimpin’ it in button down dye while he’s laying down the bass lines. Yo P! Save some for the rest of us homie 🤣
First time I met Alex King we ended up screaming some straight emo anthems before a show, so naturally he got the reverse dyed BRING ME THE HORIZON tee! (If you don’t know Oli, you don’t know showmanship) I was moved to tears at multiple points during the show. These dude are on a fu***ng heater of a run right now, check em out and you might shed some emo tears too!
Might not seem like much to some but to me one of my favorite bands, with dudes I love, is wearing my art, on stage, in my hometown 🤯🥹 at a place where I haven’t always felt like I was “a part of” probably just my BPD showing up but you know 😆 really helped me feel like I belonged there. Which is all any of us want anyways right? To belong..
Matthew Rennick and Will Herrin y’all are next! I got my eyes 👀 peeled for s**t that I hope you’ll love! Last but not least Jacob Thayer bruh! Thank you for busting your ass to make s**t like this possible! You handle a lot of moving parts I’m just grateful one of those parts is my crazy ass 🤣 goes to show Billy tour kids are the best tour kids! I fu***ng love y’all can’t wait to see ya down the line!!!

Im wayyyyyy late sharing these pics but no better time to give the Sicard Hollow boys a shout out than right before they kick off their winter tour. This is the kind of s**t that gets me all misty eyed… Show Me the Dyes got the chance to make/give a handful of custom dyes to our friends in Sicard Hollow. I got up with Jacob in Michigan after Billyween never actually believing they would wear them, just thought they were being nice lol not too long after the pics and love started rolling in and boom we had Alex King rocking and upcycled tiedyed button down in one of the living room sessions🤩 then we got Parrish Gabriel sporting a couple different dyes, one was at the sold out Boulder theatre show😳, and then Will Herrin just pimpin in the vintage cut off tiedye flannel (I knew this one was gonna be yours 😉)
Needless to say when we first started seeing pics of the boys rocking our gear it was so surreal. Last year this time I was at a job that was draining my spirit daily and I knew I couldn’t take much more, I was tired of working really fu***ng hard for other peoples vision, and getting nothing but blame when it didn’t pan out. I took a leap of something and quit my job and started making tie dye’s. To think that in less than a year we have been fortunate enough to travel all over the country and make dye’s for both the Hollow homies and Isaac Hadden, most of which have been worn on stage, is just minblowing to me 🤯 I cry every time I see one of my
shirts on stage, it never gets old! It’s a reminder that we are doing the right thing, it’s a big 🖕🏻 to all the people that doubted and discouraged me from the start, it’s gratitude and humility, it’s hope that if we keep treating people right and making dyes they like we are gonna be just fine maybe even better than even I thought possible. There’s something oddly satisfying about knowing I almost have a masters degree that i hopefully never use because I’m making a living off fu***ng tie dye t shirts and getting to see amazing live music all the time. I’m super stoked for the next couple weeks, if you’re anywhere near the cities Sicard Hollow is gracing with their presence, don’t be stupid, buy a damn ticket, I’ll bet next year this time the tickets won’t be near as easy to get! I fu***ng love y’all and can’t wait to get down on the get down this weekend starting in ATL on Friday.
