I was asked to sew the Rooster Walk logo onto 100 sweatshirts for the official Rooster Walk merchandise… and wow, this project turned out to be a much bigger undertaking than I imagined. 😅

There were long days (and late nights) of cutting, pressing, sewing, and problem-solving, but seeing it all come together has been incredibly rewarding. I truly could not have finished this project in time without my amazing husband and the wonderful friends who stepped in to help along the way. Their support, encouragement, and extra hands meant everything to me. ❤️

It’s such an honor to have been trusted with a small part of something as special as the Rooster Walk Music & Arts Festival, and now my family and I are SO excited to head to the festival this weekend and see everyone enjoying it all together!

If you spot the sweatshirts out there, just know they were made with a whole lot of love, teamwork, and coffee. ☕🧵✨

There’s something incredibly meaningful about creating art that is part of someone’s dream. ✨

It was such an honor to be trusted with this beautiful logo; something that represents this business, its values, and the people behind it. Knowing my artwork gets to be part of their story is a feeling I never take for granted.

Golden light breaking over layered hills 🌄✨

This quilted landscape was inspired by early mornings in the Blue Ridge — when the sun peeks over the mountains and everything feels full of possibility. Each hill is hand-cut and carefully pieced, with layered batiks adding depth and movement. The stitched details follow the curves of the land like quiet paths winding through the valleys.

The sun’s rays are individually appliquéd, radiating warmth and hope across the scene. No two fabrics are the same — just like no two sunrises ever are.

Created with intention, texture, and a deep love for the mountains. 💛
