When I first learned to play I couldn't imagine playing two hands at once.

At first, it took me an hour to play one game.

Then I learned to play a game in 15 minutes.

Today, my hubby and I play two hands at once in 15 minutes.

It takes time to learn the game. Then it takes time to learn the card. But eventually, you'll be wanting to play two hands at once, too!!!

People often ask about how to care for Mahjong mats. Different products have different care instructions.

For these mats, I wash them with towels and then layer the wet towels and wet mats on a table outside to dry in the heat.

This is also a way to get creases to go away.

You've played Mahjong, but have you played 2 hands at once?

It's called Siamese, Double Handed, or 2 player.

No matter what you call it, we'll spend the evening playing one-on-one. Winning the game means ending with Mahjong for 2 lines.

You'll begin with an overview of instructions and then will have guidance throughout the evening as you play.

All registrants must have experience playing American Mahjong and be familiar with the 2026 NMJL card.

All materials will be provided.

Light snacks will be served.

$30 per person - all materials included

This evening class is from 6-9 at Woodland UMC in Rock Hill.

Come as you are. We'll start at the beginning and end with a game winner!

This Mahjong 101 class starts at the beginning and ends with someone winning a game.
