NGL I want to do this
"I can finally share the picture of the big surprise project I was working on. My daughter’s teachers had each student color a template for a hat I had emailed them a few weeks ago. Once they were all done I did my best to recreate each hat so they could go home with a hat they designed for winter break. I’m not going to lie some were more challenging than others. If it wasn’t for my sister, Caelan, who embroiders I don’t know how I would have recreated one of the hats.
I can’t post the picture of the kids as I don’t have permission from the parents but all the kids were smiling. 😊 I have received a few messages from parents thanking me and telling me how their child loves their hat, which made it worth while." -- two years ago, South Road Stitches, an upstate New York hat maker shared this heartwarming story of creativity and community
