Liberty & Laws Clothing Co

Liberty & Laws Clothing Co Veteran owned and operated. Online store is now open at official website! I am deeply passionate about American history. I also wear a lot of patriotic t-shirts.

I create my designs with the American history lover in mind. There are so many amazing stories, characters, and events that many people do not know. I create designs for people that are proud of what it means to be an American and the events that took place for us to be here. The purpose of this company is to foster discussion about the founding of America. I want people to see these designs and a

sk questions. I want the people wearing them to be able to answer those questions. All my designs have a story, and when you see a design you like you can read about the story behind that design, so when someone asks you about your shirt you can tell them the meaning behind the design. I read a lot of books about different periods in American history. Sometimes I read while wearing patriotic t-shirts. One day, after reading a book about the American Revolutionary War, I started thinking about how most patriotic t-shirts just touch the surface of the war by focusing on dates, flags, or famous slogans. The next time I read, I began taking notes and highlighting ideas I would wear on a t-shirt. One of those ideas was the inspiration for our company name. The company name "Liberty & Laws" was taken from a street ballad that patriots began singing after the events of the Boston Massacre that led to the Boston Tea Party. It went like this:

Rally Mohawks! Bring out your axes,
And tell King George we'll pay no taxes
On his foreign tea...
Our Warren's there, and bold Revere
With hands to do and words to cheer
For Liberty and laws. According to the forefathers liberty nor laws could exist on their own. Natural liberty, the freedom to do whatever you want, needed the restraint of human laws. By applying laws to liberty, although it diminished natural liberty, restrained a man from doing mischief to his fellow citizens. This increased the civil liberties of all men. Currently, this company is run by one guy, me. I am a Navy veteran and currently employed in the field of law enforcement. I am testing the market to see if anyone else is interested in some deeper more meaningful designs regarding the founding of America. I feel that my ideas create a niche in the market that no one has explored.
