We’ve been MIA, but we are back!
Our whole family took a trip to New Jersey last week to honor Christina’s mother and Breahna’s grandmother, Dolly. She passed in 2025 and her final request was that we took her back home to Jersey where she grew up.
We all hopped in our cars and made the journey and spent a week exploring and sharing fond memories of her, wishing she was physically there with us.
We unplugged and enjoyed lots of time on the beach and the boardwalk, and ate lots of pizza and celebrated Dolly’s life with a memorial ceremony on the beach.
We embroidered purple shirts (her favorite color) with her iconic “love you more” saying to honor her memory, and scattered daisies (her absolute favorite flowers) along the shore and watched them drift away into the ocean and down the coast line.
We miss her more than words can express and we wish that she was there to celebrate with us, but it was amazing to slow down and spend time with family. Her favorite thing was when we were all together and chatting, laughing, and building new memories. We love you more, Dolly 🤍
