Before getting pregnant again I told myself I did not want to waste time missing out on the joy of carrying a child with anxiety.
Being pregnant with my daughter immediately after having a loss made me so anxious during her pregnancy. God was so faithful and that pregnancy and delivery was so smooth. But I always regret how anxious I let myself be.
This pregnancy I’ve seen God show up in so many little ways when I start to feel anxious. Literally even if it was me thinking “hmm I don’t really have symptoms today, I hope everything is still good” and then being nauseous two hours later 😅
This felt like another way God has shown me comfort. Maybe it sounds like oh that’s normal for Spotify to switch playlists over night. But I forgot to mention that after the first appointment when it happened, it went back to punk music after the appointment 👀and even if it is just normal Spotify, it could have played any genre next but it played worship music both times.
I’m sharing because I don’t think God’s faithfulness should be a secret, but also for any other loss moms going through the struggle of anxiety in pregnancy. Try to find the small comforts when you can. And I’m here if you need to talk about it 🫶🏽
