In 1997, two kids had a dream of creating a design that brought together the prestige of golf and the casual feel of beach life. They toyed with the idea and several different directions for the head wear and apparel line. The two collaborated and designed the first logo. am behind and go their separate ways. One would go on to design a software program that operates several of the world’s car dealerships software systems. The other would go on to build a successful reputation in the golf industry as a guru in facility management. In 2013, the two rekindled their idea and talks of re-designing the “Pull The Pin” concept began. The logo was brought back to life with a little assistance from Bill Murray’s character in the movie Caddyshack. His character inspired the new name and design. “I get on as a looper,” says Murrays character. A looper? “Yea you know, a caddy, A looper, A jock, A looper!” Several ideas were thrown around and eventually the two landed on a concept they named “Looper”. The concept brings together a high end professional look with a casual feel. The country club life meets the everyday golfer. With the newly revamped design, both are confident that they have found their niche. “We just want to take this idea to the next level with Looper.” The Looper logo came full circle in 2016 when the unique idea and design become identifiable not just on the golf course but also on the street.
