Pat’s sister, Nancy, made this beautiful quilt and asked us to quilt it for her. Pat chose the quilting pattern as a surprise—and the finished result is absolutely stunning.

Does your sewing machine need a little TLC?🔧

Blue Willow Mercantile’s service department works on most makes, models, and ages of sewing machines—and no appointment is needed for drop-off.

Before you bring your machine in, make sure to include:
• Everything needed to operate the machine
• A zigzag presser foot
• A zigzag needle plate

A few helpful notes:
• We do not service industrial machines or treadles
• Machines must be out of cabinets before drop-off
• Need help lifting it from your car? Just ask—we’re happy to help
• Scissor sharpening is also available for $4 per pair

If you’d like to speak directly with the service technician, he’s typically not in on Mondays.

One of those little INNOVA features that's really nice to have✨

Seth is showing how the spring-loaded hopping foot helps the machine move over thicker patches and bulky areas of a quilt without needing to stop and manually raise the foot.

On trickier projects, you can also switch to a cup foot to help avoid snagging.

It's a small detail, but on a quilt with lots of texture, seams, or patches, it can make the whole process feel a lot smoother.

Another exciting first look from Seth’s trip to Baby Lock! The Luna combines sewing + embroidery in one machine, with some seriously fun features for bringing your ideas to life.
