One of my favorite things about owning a small business is that sometimes you think you’re just making a connection with another business owner, + before you know it, you’ve made a friendship.
What started as cheering each other on, sharing a little space in Rice, + talking all things small business turned into celebrating wins, laughing through the chaos, + becoming friends along the way.
Watching Jenn + Jordan grow (+ outgrow) Rice & now open another location has been so fun to see. They work incredibly hard, dream big, support other small businesses & vendors, + somehow still find a way to make it all fun. They create spaces for people, cheer others on, + truly believe there’s room for everyone.
Small business isn’t always easy. It’s long days, late nights, boxes everywhere, + lots of just figuring it out, but it’s also friendships you never expected, people who become your biggest supporters, + getting a front row seat to watch your friends chase their dreams.
I’m so grateful to get a ticket to the show + even be a tiny part of this chapter. Even more grateful that a little small business connection turned into a friendship.
These two do it all so well, + so many of us have been lucky enough to feel that support firsthand. Congratulations on this huge milestone. You deserve every bit of it, & after today — I know the future is gonna be 2 good 🫶✨🍑
