As many of my friends and Clients know, August 2024, we had a devastating loss in our family.

My husband’s service dog, Reiki, passed away suddenly from a mass in his abdomen.

We soon lost my 18 year old kitty that I have had since we were first married.

After many sleepless nights and lots of heartache, we have decided it was time to add to our family.

Everyone, meet Kilo! He will be with me here as I am training him to be next in line to be a service dog for Seizure alert, PTSD, and to help when I am unavailable.

Our hearts grew a little bigger knowing he has the same mannerisms as Reiki did. ❤️❤️❤️

A few days ago, I came across a reel where .ed.studio and fell in love with the idea of how simple it could be to make a Quilty Coat/sweater.

Just watching her Reel, I was able to follow along and make this in two days!

My little one’s teacher is pregnant with her first baby! I knew I wanted line The Very Hungry Caterpillar but I had no idea how hard it would be to track down all of the fabric!

I am so thankful for Etsy and Small quilt shops that post their fabrics online because it took me ordering from two shops, one in California 3000 miles away,( and from Massachusetts 🥰!

I am so grateful to have been able to gift such a wonderful teacher this amazing little quilt.

Now, we wait for her little human to come so she can experience the Joy of motherhood and baby snuggles!
