I found a pair of these vintage Bavarian placemats at an estate sale and fell in love. They were made in Austria and are most likely from the 1960s-70s. They even still had the original price tag!

I decided to keep the fringe as a design feature and used durable canvas and denim to up-cycle them into a one-of-a-kind tote bag.
