I’d like to start by saying- I do NOT condone non-consensual s*x or p**n (lower the pitchforks).
However, I am a s*xologist and to be good at my job, I have to have an open mind and do not judge. I’ve worked with many individuals and clients and know that many enjoy p**n as a form of foreplay and sometimes use it to find ways to spice up their bedroom game (there are much better resources for this, as it should never be used as a learning tool).
As long as BOTH partners are comfortable with it and understand that p**n sets unrealistic expectations on body image, performance, stamina, etc (you should not expect yourself or your partner to look or perform the way the actor/actress is performing), it can be fun and healthy.
If you are looking for an alternative site, I typically recommend ethical p**n sites to my clients who ask. If you’ve never heard of it, ethical p**n is adult content that is produced legally, consensual and transparent for all participants, is created in an environment that emphasizes safety and respect, and does not contribute to wider social inequalities.
