The Choir Lady Sews

The Choir Lady Sews I’m Christina, a creative daughter of a seamstress, also takes the impossible as a challenge with my God-given talents.

I love (re)designing & altering garments and making new ones. I would love to be a blessing in your life, to the glory of God! 🙌🏽💕

This is so true, but, I can never take all the credit because I know who I prayed to for help and guidance. The Lord God himself is worthy of the praise for my creations.! 🙌🏽💞

There’s a certain kind of magic in making something with your own two hands. It’s not always loud. It doesn’t always come with applause. But sometimes… you step back, take a breath, and truly see what you’ve created.

And in that moment, you catch yourself thinking,
**“I did that?”**

That’s not just a finished quilt, a sewn hem, or a pattern brought to life. That’s your time, your patience, your courage to keep going—especially on the days it felt impossible.

You didn’t just make something beautiful.
You grew. You learned. You showed up for yourself.

So if you’re looking for a sign that you’re doing enough, let this be it. What you’re creating matters—because you matter. ✨💖🧵

The office sheer drapes. One of the sewing projects that my twin sister and I often helped my mother with, after school, was curtains. It was nostalgic sewing these except that I wasn't just a high school student pinning, measuring, hemming or ironing then, but I wasn't just a sewing them too! Brent already had a few options for mounting these, but the magnetic weights I stitched into the hems can allow for the use of a metal rod too.
