Bottomland wasn’t designed in a studio, it was built from the ground itself. The pattern doesn’t just pull inspiration from nature, it uses the actual elements you are looking to blend in with to create depth, layers, and a natural landscape.

Driven by a desire to get closer to turkeys in the forests of Mississippi and Alabama, the tree bark, dirt, sticks, and leaves from that region became the blueprint for one of the most natural-looking camouflage patterns the world has ever seen. Introduced by in 1986, Bottomland was their first pattern and has been a staple in the hunting and outdoor communities ever since.

grew up inside the action sports industry before he ever picked up a brush. His father was an original Dogtown skater who later built a storied career in the surf world. His mother taught art, always pushing him to see color and creativity from day one. Although Erik didn't start painting until after college, the eye was always there.

Now his work hangs in homes and hotels from Montauk to Monaco. Always large and always the statement piece of a room. Built from long, confident brushstrokes that can't be replicated, even by himself, each painting is truly one of one.
