Its that time again!! Another opportunity to celebrate our Indigenous brothers and sisters. Native American Day today and EVERY day.

I don't see many of them in durags or wave check competitions, BUT... can we just stop for a moment to appreciate what they have going on with their hair?! Gorgeous stuff! Just about everyone is ready for their close-up in a shampoo commercial.

Murray's is an oldie but goodie. Lots of really great alternatives out there, but every time I start again and its been a while, I'll go with Murray's or Murray's Light. It dries me out, but everybody's different. What do you all use? Comment below.

Shea Butter is THAT stuff! Is great to use for moisturizing, conditioning and softening your hair. You're leveling up. It helps to be aware of the things you can use to get the best results for your hair. Stay WAVY!!

For those that are ragged up almost 24/7, substituting a SHEA BUTTER or a Leave - in conditioner isn't a bad alternative if you find your hair constantly being dried out by the pomade you're using. No shortage of benefits, and really good to rehydrate and strengthen the hair that is dry or damaged.

This is one of the methods I know. What are some of yours?

Life is too short to be out here looking all rough! Go see your barber and don't be cheap! Not all heroes wear capes. Some of them cut hair. Give me some names for some of your favorites here in San Diego!
