Our Story

Colton and Evan started this company with a vision to make functional and aesthetic apparel that ensured uninterrupted music during workouts. Fitness enthusiasts themselves, Colton and Evan saw the need for a smart pocket on their joggers and shorts that would provide an enjoyable workout experience without the hassle of the phone fumbling around inside the pocket of their apparel. It w

as late one night in December 2015, when Colton was inconveniently finishing up a set of jump ropes without music that he decided to purchase some DIY hand-sewing materials. Three hours, some 'mild' frustration, and a sketchily sewed-on zipper (on the exterior of the shorts) later, the first prototype was born---and surprisingly effective. Many late nights of hand-sewing ensued that eventually transitioned into the fine-tunement of skills on an actual sewing machine. A number of viable prototypes were yielded and put to the test. Colton noticed the primary issue people have with their device while working out, is the security within the pocket. Whether it be running, jump roping, TRX, or bench press, a concern of musical interruption is everpresent. Evan joined soon after to assist in the refinement of the product and work with the suppliers to generate a viable commercial-grade product. The excitement of working on something that can augment workouts and can be shared with other similar fitness enthusiasts to the solve this universal problem makes each 18-hour day worth every second. To this day, the nights that have turned into mornings (in a strict business manner) have far from ceased, but they would have it no other way.
