Just a little FYI 😊 The name of my business actually comes from my parents’ clothing store in Thailand called Kwanjai Phayao.

Kwanjai means something close to “sweetheart” or “from the bottom of my heart,” and Phayao is the city where I grew up. My parents opened their small shop back in 1993, and it’s still running today.

When I started my business in the US, I wanted to carry a piece of home with me and make my parents proud by naming it after their store. It means a lot to me because it’s not just a business name. It’s a connection to my family, my hometown, and the hard work my parents have put in for so many years. ❤️

I grew up watching Popeye, and he’s always been one of my favorite cartoon characters. 💚

Yep… I’m old. 😂 I feel like I was one of the last generations that got to grow up with classic cartoons like Popeye because they were still airing reruns in Thailand throughout the ‘90s. I don’t know if it was the same where you grew up!

Did you ever watch Popeye? 😄💪🌿

The weather in Sacramento this weekend was absolutely brutal! 🥵🔥We were at Sac Pride, and I’m giving it two awards: one of the hottest events of the year so far… and definitely the hottest (and cutest 💖) attendees! 🌈✨

While we were slowly turning into roasted vendors inside our little oven tent, we still had the best time. Seeing everyone come out to celebrate Pride, dress up, have fun, share your smiles, and bring such amazing energy made the whole weekend so special.🏳️‍🌈

Thank you for coming out to celebrate Pride, support small businesses, and spread so much love despite the heat. ❤️

This event gave us nothing but smiles, positivity, good vibes, and wonderful memories. 🥹🙏Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, said hi, checked out our crochet cuties, and supported our small business. It truly means so much to us.

Vendor life with your spouse isn’t always cute.

We’ve gotten upset, argued, and had to learn how to adapt to each other’s work styles. It took time to get in sync, and honestly, we’re still learning.

But love makes us choose each other every day, at home and at work. 👫🏻❤️

Life can’t be sweet all the time. The ups and downs are what make the journey worth it. 🚗💨

A bit delayed, but here’s our recap from the Reno River Festival this past weekend! 🏞️

Our first time in Reno, and the weather was so nice! ☀️

Thank you to the event organizers for putting together such an amazing event. We had a good time and appreciate all of you who stopped by to say hi, support us, and check out our crochet goodies.🫶
