5 things you should know when getting your done.

1. Research your artist. Look at healed pics, before and afters. Also do some research on the procedure. Learn the pros and cons, what it entails, reviews and all that good stuff.

2. Read the pre and post care information provided to you. It will prepare you for your session as well as aid in your healing process.

3. Drink lots of water leading up to your appointment. Keep your lips plump and hydrated.

4. Exfoliating your lips and following with moisture will provide a smooth surface for me to work on for better pigment implantation and less trauma to the lips.

5. Everyone has their own level of comfort and although I will try my best to keep you comfortable with my technique and numbing process there may be some discomfort during your service but following your precare instructions will help tremendously.

So the lower picture is his BEFORE pic from his most current session. This is an example of what can sometimes happen when you go too long without having your first follow up session. He had 2 sessions prior but waited over year in between, so each time it was like starting all over.

The follow up session is not only to perfect your but also to implant and replace any pigment lost during your healing process. This will increase the longevity of wear. Especially for clients as we are not removing the darkness it will return as the color fades.
