I dream up, design and sew all Brown Sugar Beach {with lots of love and a little bit of ocean air} in my home studio in Santa Barbara, California. I have always enjoyed designing, sewing & creating. When my oldest daughter was born [2010] I saw the need for more choices in cool, modern kids clothes at an affordable price so I began sewing them myself. Out of that passion grew Brown Sugar Beach. My
daughter is my muse and all of the designs you see are inspired by her. Each item is thoughtfully designed and sewn by me, but more importantly everything you see has passed my daughters strict guidelines of comfort & wearability as well as her innate fashion sensibility.
**Sometimes buying online, and handmade, can be difficult as it's hard to tell the quality of the material and craftsmanship. Please know that it is my passion to ensure every item that leaves my studio is a beautifully crafted item that will withstand the wear and tear of an active child.
