Healing Hands Scrubs It's just Good Karma. Healing Hands was conceived in the hospital room, not the boardroom, when our Good Karma is our way of life.

After our Founder, Bansi Lahkani, suffered a massive heart attack at age 43 that required major surgery, he believed that he might not have survived without the dedicated nurses that cared for him. He vowed to give back to the “angels” that saved him. That experience convinced Bansi that the ill-fitting uniform scrubs made of scratchy fabric needed a major upgrade. Partnering with his son, Sid, he

developed a comprehensive plan to make the best scrubs in the market. Today, nurses throughout the world love to wear Healing Hands. It was possible because Bansi just wanted to find a way to thank them. If you look inside the scrubs, he does just that with his appreciation messages like – “Thank you for being a healer,” “Every caregiver is a blessing,” and “You make the world better.”

“Nurse Alice” Benjamin shares some wisdom:

“I’ve made these mistakes as a new nurse so you don’t have to.”

Mistake #1: I thought I had to prove myself to others.

Lesson: I put too much pressure on myself to have all the answers. You don’t have to know everything but I do have to know where/who I can go to as a resource. You’re still learning every shift.

Mistake #2: I compared myself to other nurses.

Lesson: I was measuring my Day One against someone else’s Year Ten. Or my complex assignment to someones lighter one. Stay focused on your own growth.

Mistake #3: I got too focused on completing tasks instead of looking at the bigger picture.

Lesson: Checking off tasks feels productive, but great nurses recognize patterns, notice subtle changes, and think beyond the orders. That’s how clinical judgment develops.
