Cindy McCarley is a certified kitchen and bath designer and National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) member. She has been
working in various realms of the design world for over 25 years. She started her business in Texas working as an artist doing faux finishes
and custom painting. Her work was featured in prestigious homes and stores, as well as numerous Parade of Homes tours. As her reputa
tion grew, her projects were highlighted in multiple publications in the Austin/San Antonio/Texas Hill Country areas. Many of her clients sought her interior design advice, which lead her not only to residential design, but commercial as well. In 1990, Cindy began a relationship with the SAS shoe company, which would span more than twenty years. Originally, she painted all signage for the company's stores (150+). Concurrently, she also stenciled on site in each store throughout the United States, Mexico and Canada. Working with her
sister, an interior designer, they developed a new design concept for all of the SAS stores. Their work included procuring all furniture, rugs,
window treatments, lighting, antiques, etc. as well as space planning and installation. Cindy earned her kitchen and bath certification by returning to school and subsequently worked as a kitchen/bath designer in St. Louis, where she moved with her family in 2001. With an eye on eventually moving full time to Florida, where the McCarley’s own a second home, Cindy started working as a designer in Grayton Beach, Florida in 2013. She now divides her time between St. Louis and Florida, with
an occasional project back home in Texas. No matter your scope of work, Cindy is happy to work with you. She strives to create beautiful, livable spaces. Her relationships with her clients are important to her. “I like happy, satisfied clients,” she says. Cindy goes the extra mile for her clients and when the project is completed, she hopes to have gained a friend. (Yes, let’s meet for a glass of wine!)
