Still at the nail/ash pick up where our old burn pile used to be.

This whole barn foundation (was a barn floor) was a dumping ground. I guess in the late 90s the old stones were discovered and trash was shoveled out. So me trying to find every loose piece of rusty metal isn't entirely effective. But here I am scrapping off the first 6 inches of the area.

Future kid hang out spot in the works 👏🏻

Our farmhouse has steep stairs and lead paint. Stairs are prone to getting knicks and scratches. We thought about demoing them and rebuilding last fall right before our baby was born. We decided to hold off. Daniel was able to do a thorough paint job this spring. Nothing glamorous but practical and important. For the final color we mixed all the leftover paint cans we had on hand. 👏
