So a customer orders something,
I asked her if she wanted me to mail it to her or deliver it and she told me she was going to be in Tacoma, Sumner and Des Moines’s around 12.
It was perfect for me because I would be getting out of Winco around that time which isn’t far from Des Moines‘s, didn’t have to charge her for delivery.
When I got out of Winco, I texted her to see where she was, she said she was still in Sumner. I asked her to send me the address where she was going to be at in Des Moines so I could head that way and wait and thus not have to go all the way to Sumner but she sent me the address to Sumner anyways.
I informed her how long it would take me to get out there and how much it would be for me to deliver to her and she didn’t answer.
A few minutes before I got there.
I texted her and she said that she was in there anymore that she was headed to Des Moines‘s because her baby was frustrated?! And I said no, why if you knew I was coming? I also have kids to you know and that’s no excuse for following through.
She said fine just send me your location and I’ll come to you when I sent her the location. She started complaining and asking me if I could go to her and I told her to make up her mind.
The customer stated there was a miscommunication and I clarified that was impossible, because the messages haven’t been deleted, and I’m always very clear and direct with my communication.
I share this as an example as to why some people are discouraged, and why we charge for delivery. So please respect my effort, my time and my business. Thank you
