I really love chunky yarn, and quick knits - but what I had a hard time finding *specifically* was a chunky knit fisherman style Beanie. So I created the perfect pattern for myself ( and now you ) to whip up a very cute and cozy Beanie for the fall and cold winter days ahead.
Using 15/10mm circular needles and a skein of my favorite yarn - malabrigo in Rasta, you can finish this hat up in a single afternoon or evening. Make one as a gift for your mom, partner or cousin - or keep for yourself.
While I wrote this for the advanced beginner, I have heard it’s very easy to understand and follow along. You just need to have a good understanding of long-tail cast-on and knitting in the round. I also wrote the pattern in such a way that your rows will neatly line up while decreasing ( it’s a bit unique, but easy to grasp! ) so that the top looks perfect and it will sit nicely on your head.
Made in one-size, you can easily follow our modification to create a bit of extra height.
