Today is four years since my last Radiation treatment. Normally I go out to dinner with all three of my boys to celebrate, but this year I’m working at a Fiber Festival.
This year’s celebration included, a wonderful dinner at Zeina’s Cafe with my friends , on the way back Debbie mentioned the ice cream shop near my hotel, and Ben decided we needed dessert, so he and I walked over.

This is my friendly reminder to listen to your body, and go to the doctor when something doesn’t feel right. I’m happy to say, I saw my radiation oncologist in May and he said at this point the chance of recurrence is very low and that he doesn’t need to see me for a year, which means I truly feel like a survivor!

Life is short take care of yourself and eat desert if you want to!

This coming Saturday and Sunday June 6&7, I’m vending for the first time at the CNY Fiber Festival at the Herkimer County Fairgrounds, 135 Cemetery Street, Frankfort, NY. Look for me in Building A!

Hey South Jersey and tristate area friends, my yarn and I will be in Pennsville, NJ at Home Coming Art Studio next Saturday and Sunday, May 30-31st from 10-4 both days! There will be samples to help inspire your next project and so much yarn including my newest base, Summer a Superwash merino/cotton/linen yarn, that is perfect for light weight projects. I’m so excited to announce that you can now find Hopemade Yarn at Twist Knitting and Spinning in Lahaska, PA! They are now stocking Jojo’s Favorite, Hope MCN, Splendid Dk, and Joy DK. Sweaters quantities are available!

If you are unfamiliar with Lahaska, it is in between Doylestown and New Hope. Twist is on 202 right across from Peddlers Village. Stop in and find your next project!

I’m so excited to be a vendor for the first time at the 13th annual Indie Untangled Rhinebeck Kickoff!

I will be joining 45+ wonderful vendors on October 16th from 10am-5:30pm at HITS on the Hudson in Saugerties, NY.

Indie Untangled is a great way to kick off your Rhinebeck weekend. Set against views of the Catskill Mountains, the show features a juried selection of hand-dyed, handspun, and custom-milled yarn, spinning fiber, handmade project bags, stitch markers, jewelry, and other small-batch accessories.

When you aren’t shopping, you can grab a meal or snack from local food trucks, relax in the large tented lounge, meet the featured designers and enter to win prizes, and craft with old and new friends.

Tiered entry tickets will go on sale Saturday, May16 at 12pm Eastern at indieuntangled.com . Ticket prices range from $5-$40 and if you can’t attend in person, Virtual Marketplace registration opens Sunday, May 17th at 12pm Eastern.
