I'm not the only creative one in my family. Check out the "Grow With Me" sweater my niece embellished and gifted to my daughter at her baby shower. 🩷 As a seamstress, I can confirm that her stitches are so good!

If you haven't seen these before, basically, you put baby in it every month on their "birthday" and snap a picture so you can see how much they grow from month to month. Then by their first birthday, it should fit.

I highly recommend cutting up your husband's jeans and making a quilt for your grandbaby. Papaw's jeans, Grandma's handwriting, eyelet ruffle trim, and lots of love. I know how much her Mama will love her, because I know how much I love her Mama. She is indeed "one very loved little farm girl." 🩷

I've always wondered how people could sew through their finger on their sewing machine because I am way more careful than that. Turns out, I'm not! Yowch!!!

It is the Lord's day so no bad words were shouted and Jesus definitely took the wheel because one hair closer and it would have been my nail too. 🙌

But, I'm thankful to finally have a working machine and to be getting caught up. So I'll wear my bandaid, drink my Diet Coke, and keep on making the beautiful things!
