❗️ "I accumulated DUIs, I almost lost my career, my wife almost left me, and worst of all I just wanted to die."
❗️ "I caused a wreck because I drove drunk."

"I never really had an alcohol problem. I wasn't one of those people who struggled with addiction or resisting the urge to drink. I was/am a social drinker. I just drink occasionally and have never really had any issues with doing so. But one night I was drinking at a friend's house and then I drove home. I shouldn't have driven home."

"Ahhhh where to start. Alcohol is said to affect everyone differently and that’s obvious if you just take a quick look around at people when they drink. For me, and many others, alcohol is extremely addictive. Once consumed, we lose our ability to stop. We are very compulsive in nature. We don’t need a reason to drink. We happy, we drink. We sad, we drink. It’s your birthday, we drink…. You get the point." 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗵𝗼𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲: 𝗵𝘁𝘁𝗽𝘀://𝗯𝗶𝘁.𝗹𝘆/𝟯𝗠𝗞𝗶𝗙𝗣𝗺
"I choose to break the cycle of alcoholism in my family. My fear is for my children. They have addiction from both sides. Their dad was an addict (he overdosed when they were babies) and then I have my history. I tell them the truth so they know."
A woman shared her alcohol story with us. She shared about several members of her family that were affected by alcohol and how their story of alcohol has affected hers. See the full story here: http://bit.ly/3KJ6WPv

is a great time to talk about some of the issues surrounding our young drivers. Now in its 15th year, National Teen Driver Safety Week is dedicated to raising awareness and seeking solutions to prevent teen injuries and deaths on the road.
Ignition interlock devices, or vehicle breathalyzers, have great potential in the fight against drinking and driving. Many people who use our products have been ordered to do so by a court, probation officer, or a specific program they’re in. But some people voluntarily install our life-saving products to protect themselves or their loved ones by preventing drunk driving accidents or monitoring alcoholism. Parents can use our devices as a way of preventing their teens from driving the vehicle after drinking.
