All available except the Burberry Goddess, which travels with Scarlett O'Sahara. Speaking of Scarlett - these are our custom seat covers. I'm currently flipping through my upholstery swatch book full of exotic animal prints, camo, tech fabrics and saddle blankets. Dangerous territory. 🐊

Taluka Trades is gearing up for its third incarnation: downtown Beaumont, Old Town, and now a big departure from conventional retail. Third time's a charm. Plein air shopping, anyone?

Happy National Reptile Awareness Day! 🐊

From painting Gator Country's legendary 14' Big Tex, to custom gator seat covers, belts, bags, wallets, figurines and a ten-foot taxidermy alligator we brought home from Galveston - Taluka Trades is here for it.

Throw in a few encounters with some local snakes and our golden gator Batiste's summer vacation in Rome, and you've got a good sampling of our reptilian adventures.

We have finished moving and have a lot of work at the cabin (Redbay, my tiny home rehab project on Village Creek). Couldn't imagine funner and more rewarding work than updating a waterfront fish camp and getting storage units ready for plein air shopping in the fall. 🎣🍂🍁🐊

But first - I need to exhale, settle in, and begin a project that will bring me much joy. I plan to paint each of The Highwaymen, and offer the individuals or collection for sale. There will be some porch picking between work hours. I will begin with Waylon. 🎨🖌🎸

I realize I haven't posted the finished Optimus Steel mural, or two other recent commissions... stay tuned! 🔥

Throwback to our first location in downtown Beaumont.

Taluka Trades is officially moved into our new Silsbee location! Now, the small matter of turning storage units into a shop.

Planning limited open weekends... one Thursday thru Saturday weekend each month - plus online shopping, appointments and events.

We'll announce the first one as soon as we're ready. Catch me outside!
