We’re thrilled to spotlight two incredible athletes from Special Olympics South Dakota — Amanda Oleson and Michael Rice! 👏

🏀 Amanda, representing the Special Olympics Sioux Falls Fireworks, has been competing in Special Olympics for 7 years in basketball, bowling, and track. Her favorite athlete is Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed, and she loves the opportunities Special Olympics provides to travel, see new places, and make new friends. 💚

⚾ Michael, from the Special Olympics Brookings, has been involved in Special Olympics for 10 years and competes in bocce, bowling, and softball. He says his favorite part is the road trips and making new friends, and that every part of Special Olympics is fun! 🙌
