Bugsy Bananas & Co. Handcrafted apparel and accessories for pets and their people. It all started with a dog named Bugsy and his love for bananas. Bugsy was our first fur child.

I've always loved animals, especially dogs. My husband and I adopted Bugsy in 2005 from the Hawaiian Humane Society. We've added to the pack since then. So WHY BANANAS? Bugsy LOVED bananas... he'd even eat the peel. True story. We added “Bananas” to his name because of his love for bananas. Throughout the years, he brought us so much joy and laughter. Bugsy was an awesome dog. I use the past tense

because unfortunately Bugsy Bananas is no longer with us. He succumbed to old age and health issues in July 2016. But as they say, you can't keep a good dog down. He lives on through this business. I decided to start this business in memory of Bugsy... the added bonus is that I love to create things, especially for my dogs. I hope these creations bring you as much happiness as they do me.
