As fall approaches many parents have asked about future classes. At this time I will be pushing the pause button on sewing classes for the remainder of 2024. THANK YOU SO MUCH for supporting my small business for so many years now! If the time comes to reopen Smyrna Sewing School, I will post an update. Until then, I'm letting the Lord lead me in a new direction. Have an amazing school year everyone!!! ❤️

WEEK 9!!! Makeup bags and Headbands 🩵

I can't believe this is the last sewing workshop of the summer!!! These young ladies did a fantastic job and were so fun to sew with!

Each makeup bag is lined and has a zipper. They learned how to top stitch, box corners and sew in a zipper during this class. I'm always so amazed at how their projects turn out! Great job, ladies!!!

I had the best group of children to sew aprons and bake cookies with this week! Their aprons are REVERSIBLE and so adorable!!!

WEEK 6!!! CROSS BODY PURSE CAMP!!!!

The pictures really don't show the cuteness level of these designer handbags. They are lined, with a front lined zipper pocket, magnet snap closure and hand sewn strap. Each little lady chose their own fabric (6 girls chose the same one!!! Lol). We had a blast! Great job, girls! Thanks for sewing with me this week!!!

Week 3 of Summer Workshops!!!! Three Tiered Maxi Skirts!!! I love each one SEW much!!!! Such a great project for kids! They got to choose their fabric color(s)....I love how they are all different! We learned about elastic casings, ruffling fabric and hemming! All important things! Come back and see me again soon!
