Luna Digs This Handprinted bespoke design. Made in Somerset. My subject interests and themes are wide and varied!

I am a former midwife who swapped the busy NHS wards for a new found passion for creating bespoke, handmade items such as coasters, tote bags and t-shirts. From skateboarding to typography and images inspired by the beautiful county of Somerset, where I live. I have also accepted commissions to create personalised t-shirts and hoodies, from the local school and event groups 😊

I've been busy with 2 new exciting projects....

firstly, printing the 'Leavers' Hoodies' for the Year 6 leavers at Shepton Beauchamp Church School. Each one is bespoke to the student's wishes for colour of hoodie as well as the effect and colour of the vinyl used for the back logo. Requests for blue glow in the dark, holographic silver and tie-dye all made this an interesting - and at times challenging! - project for me. My hope is that the students can leave with their own personalised bit of Shepton School which they will cherish 😊

My second project was to make a bespoke sweatshirt for my lovely friend Sarah who runs her own yoga business and was wanting to have a change of logo. The resultant soft, rose-pink sweatshirt (made from organic cotton and recycled polyester mix) together with a lilac grey logo, evokes calmness itself......namaste 🧘‍♂️

I am SO proud to collaborate with this amazing local business, "Marc Wood Hand Made Furniture", based in Ilminster. The first of my 'Somerset' inspired collection of coasters can be purchased from my Barrington Day stall tomorrow! But worry not if you can't make it! I am excited to attend my first Barrington Day, tomorrow between 10-4pm. This will not only be my first BD but I will also be running my first stall where you can come and see my most recent makes! Everything is handprinted, designed and made by me, from just around the corner.
