Her passion for bridal gowns began while she was attending high school in North Carolina. At age 15 she designed bridal gowns in her spare time for fun and even designed her custom made prom dress at age 18. Well into her 20's Marie began fantasizing about becoming a part of the bridal industry. She then put that dream into practice where she began working part-time, as a bridal consultant, in a s
mall boutique in Grand Rapids, Michigan . After saying her own vows in 2008 and having two children soon after, she put her dreams on hold to help build her own small family's foundation. Being at home with her two young boys gave her plenty of time to soul search and discover one of her greatest passions; bridal gowns. Marie now works in the largest designer bridal gown boutique in Michiana, and is beginning her journey of building her own brand of bridal gowns: De la Cruz Designs
