Getting my inventory ready to sell at the upcoming Champlain Valley Expo. Drop off is this weekend. Still sewing a few more designs. I drop off with price tags and inventory sheets and they man the Home Crafts building and notify me at the end of the fair what needs to be picked up and a check…to buy more fabric of course.

Crafting today with good friends Jayne and Sue. We did “barn quilts” which is painting on wood a quilt pattern of choice. Depending on whether it goes inside or out it is done with acrylic paint or exterior paint. We started out with 12 x 12” boards for indoor use.

My latest interest. I can’t get to my sewing machines or fabric as it is packed away in the cellar back room during our construction. I take Amazon boxes and using rope, twine and hot glue, and various other “natural looking craft supplies” I start wrapping and gluing. Great way to recycle/up cycle.

My friend gave me a dark blue scarf of 100% wool with a fringe. I cut it to size and I appliquéd this skating snow person on it and found a branch to hang it. It is a great door hanger.
