Among these bottles there’s a “woman’s tonic” bottled in Chattanooga. These old bottles make for fantastic bud vases and the historical ties are just amusing.

What a place! As a seasoned thrifter and antiquer it’s been such a gift to find a home away from home with my first shop booth at Gathered Goods.

It’s been a place to express my creativity and learn and grow. This little booth certainly didn’t look like this almost 2 years ago! (Two years!?)

I grew up with shopping secondhand being the rule not the exception. Yard sales early on Saturday. Antique stores in downtown squares and thrift shops across town. Flea markets full of piles and buckets and stacks to pick through. I learned things without knowing I was learning things.

Like waiting years to find that one thing that would sit just right on that antique wood desk you got for a discount and tie the room together. 😍

Now all of that history gets to land in a place that is warm, welcoming, clean, and beautiful. Always changing and shifting. What a blessing! I get to find beautiful, incredible things and share all my finds with you!

This chair is very comfortable. I tested it. It would literally be magical with a cream knit throw over the back of it too. Or, that fancy star in the back there. I’m just saying.

Two of my six babies came with me to Gathered Goods yesterday. We brought some new pretties in and they supervised to make sure I behaved and stayed on task! 😆
