Hello friends,

I just stepped outside wearing a face mask, and I could still smell and feel the smoke in the air. It was a reminder of how much wildfire smoke is affecting our air quality right now.

For the past four years, I’ve used the AirVisual app every morning to check whether it’s safe to go outside for a walk or exercise. It has become part of my daily routine, especially when air quality can change quickly.

If you’re planning to spend time outdoors, I strongly encourage you to pay attention to the air quality and wear a well-fitting mask when smoke levels are elevated. Wildfire smoke contains tiny particles (PM2.5) that can travel deep into your lungs and may even enter your bloodstream.

Breathing wildfire smoke can:
β€’ Irritate your eyes, nose, and throat.
β€’ Cause coughing, wheezing, and shortness of breath.
β€’ Trigger asthma attacks and worsen COPD or other lung conditions.
β€’ Increase the risk of heart-related problems, especially in older adults and those with existing heart disease.
β€’ Cause headaches, fatigue, and dizziness.
β€’ Reduce your body’s ability to exercise safely outdoors.
β€’ Be especially harmful for children, older adults, pregnant women, and people with heart or lung conditions.

Please take these conditions seriously. If the air quality is poor, consider limiting outdoor activities, keeping windows closed if possible, using an air purifier indoors, and wearing a high-quality mask such as an N95 or KN95 if you need to be outside.

These are the facts and I don’t know if they are related.

On Saturday, June 27, 2026 around 5:30pm, I was at Elizabeth Park and I heard a boy screaming for help. I asked other people in the park where it was coming from and they pointed up the walking trail between Elizabeth Park and Prospect Ave. I went looking and didn’t find anyone or hear anything further and I called 911 to make a report.

On Monday, June 29th,
After going back to Elizabeth Park to investigate and see if I heard anything or see anyone I discovered fresh soil on the walking path where the screams were heard from. Elizabeth Rose garden gardeners mentioned they were working on that path but there was nothing planted.
I went to Hartford police to speak to them and follow up and the police officers never filed any report regarding the incident.

On Saturday, July 11th,
I went back to Elizabeth Park to spend time walking and enjoying my time with the geese and flowers. I went back to my car in which it was parked in the main parking lot near the visitor center. It appears someone went into my car without force of entry.

Today, July 14,
After returning home after running errands I noticed again someone was in my apartment. Some how they are bypassing my camera system. My curtain that divides both rooms was pulled off the wall.

The reason why I have decided to go public about these incidents because so far the police department has failed me every single time. In their exact words if you don’t have proof we are sorry we cannot assist you.

If anyone has any information regarding myself and anyone who might be involved I’m encouraging you to do the right thing and live by your truth and tell the police. It’s when we work together we can help protect each other.

Additionally, I have been followed by multiple people. If you see me out in the community please pay attention and again if you see someone or something be courageous and strong to stand up and say something! Be safe, y’all! ✌🏻

I’m having a different time understanding how the police in our communities actually work. Every day I see them posting things on social media along side with the news media. They report people only who have died or sting operations they conducted privately and the arrests they have made.

I see a lot of the police posting pictures joining community events and volunteering. Here and there you will see a police officer who just happened to be in the area when something was happening & now they are a hero.

I’m just curious to know if the local police have become organized with crime. Because any other time I go to the police about a problem or someone else I know they never actually do anything. You be lucky you even speak to someone. So my friends, I’m just curious what their actual role is here in our society?

There is a power that comes from living in truth. When you choose love, integrity, and authenticity, you no longer need to chase darkness β€” your light speaks for itself.

My journey has taught me that not everyone will understand your path. Some may question your intentions, misunderstand your heart, or try to dim what shines within you. But a true light does not need permission to shine.

I choose to walk with faith, compassion, and courage. I choose to lead with love instead of anger, forgiveness instead of bitterness, and truth instead of illusion.

May my light not be used to judge others, but to reveal what is hidden, inspire healing, and remind us all that we have the ability to rise above the darkness.

For those who walk in darkness, may they find their way back to love.

For so long, people fear what they do not understand. They fear the person who chooses truth over comfort, courage over silence, and light over darkness.

I have walked through storms that were meant to break me. I have faced battles that tested my strength, my faith, and my purpose. But every challenge became a lesson. Every wound became wisdom. Every setback became a reason to rise stronger.

I am not here to be accepted by everyone. I am here to stand in my truth, walk with love, and shine a light that cannot be ignored.

Fear is not my enemy. Fear is proof that I am stepping into something greater.
