From drab to fab! Embarking on the incredible journey of refurbishing my samba costume. Swipe left to witness a true before and after transformation! I disassembled the backpack, redesigned it, and reconstructed it bigger and better, using as many original feathers as possible.
1. The original // 2. The naked wires // 3. Covered with foam for comfort // 4. Covered with beautiful fuchsia fabric // 5. New medallions with velcro for easy disassembly // 6. All the beautiful feathers // 7. The finished product!
Later I added sparkles to the medallions as well. I'll show you another time! 😍🤩😍

Costume refresh part 2! I always intend to document more of the process but with what time 🤣😫 again the goal was to use as much of the original costume, stones, etc as possible! So I made this orange suit and stoned it to within an inch of its life. I also stoned the tights. Love it!
