Hey guys! I know this year has been bonkers for everyone, ourselves included 😵 We are closing down for a few weeks because (buh-duh-duh-duh!) we bought a house! We're excited for a million reasons but this also means I will have more space to dedicate to woodworking, painting, and finding more gorgeous items for your home. I have some items available on etsy until tomorrow evening, but then it's time to pack them up. I can't wait to share pics of my office and workspace when I get to that point, I hope to check back in as soon as I can! Thanks for following along with me on this rollercoaster called life ✌

Hey everybody! With all the climate change realness going on, I wanted to mention sustainability. My business is tiny (just me!) but I have still tried to make my goal to be as eco friendly and sustainable as I can. The items I sell are all pre-loved and are escaping a sad, needless end at the landfill. I actively avoid buying plastic throwaway junk that will end up in the trash. As you may have noticed in my photos, my props are all either natural items that I foraged (rocks, pinecones, fossils), items that I use as my actual home decor, or filler like these real cranberries/bay leaves/apples. Even with the cranberries, I have gone through and pulled the ones that are soft and put a tasty bowl out for the birds 😋😋 When it comes to packaging, I re-use recycled boxes and packing materials so don't be alarmed at a strange label! I hate waste and I do my best to find a way to re-use something before recycling/discarding. What are you doing to help the world? Let's begin 2020 with a fresh introduction: Hello! For my new followers, my name is Lydia and I live with my partner Marc and our 3 cats in a cozy suburb of St. Louis, Missouri. I grew up thrifting and perusing estate and garage sales with my mom, who taught me how to spot the diamonds in the rough ✨ I enjoy painting, crochet, embroidery, cooking and baking, and just getting crafty, like when I made this wreath the other day! Happy New Year, my friends! I'm sorry that I've been gone so long, it's been a nutty holiday season 😵 We ended up rescuing and adopting a stray Japanese Bobtail cat from Texas (her name is Penny!) and that has taken over a lot of my time and energy. We already had 2 cats so it's been a bumpy ride for them to adjust! We've been keeping Penny in my primary room for working/photographing/staging my items so things have been on a temporary hold. My etsy is still open though and those items are available for purchase. If you want to see more cat craziness, follow their insta 😺 I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays! Ethereal and feminine, these original vintage Fire-King custard cups are made of opaque borosilicate glass with an iridescent Peach Lustre finish. The scalloped edge and pale peach luster adds a feminine touch to any bedroom or vanity. Bake the prettiest little custard for afternoon tea or use a cup to hold your tea bags or sugar, these cups are multipurpose. These would work great as a dish for jewelry or small odds and ends.
Each dish holds 6 oz and is marked "424 FIRE-KING MADE IN U.S.A.". Due to the opacity of the dish, the bottom stamp was meant to be read from the other side, thus it appears to be printed backwards. Made between 1942-1945, these dishes are heat resistant and meant to be used in the oven. DO NOT USE IN MICROWAVE OR ON STOVE TOP. Hand wash ONLY, dishwashing will wear away the beautiful shine.

These cheery gold tone salt and pepper shakers are sure to add some joy to your table! Elegant and timeless, these pieces are vintage but they would not be out of place in a modern, minimalist home. A beautiful set to use for a holiday dinner! Petite but well made of porcelain, they date back to the 1930s and retain their original cork stoppers. These shakers are 3 inches tall and 1.25 inches wide at the base.
There are some minor imperfections in the glaze due to age. Please view all the pictures, I have tried to show every angle. The corks have minor damage to them but they are still structurally sound. Check the etsy link in my bio for this item and more pretty things!

This lovely vintage olive green planter has no drainage hole so it is ideal for succulents, African violets, or any other small indoor or bulb plants. The mid century modern design is classic, easily fitting into any modern home. Holding candies for Christmas or lush peonies in the Spring, this planter could work for many different settings and uses.

McCoy Pottery is very collectible and this beauty does not look her age! This planter is original vintage but it is in perfect condition, no cracks/crazing/chips/scratches. Made in the USA, the bottom shows imperfections from the original process of glazing but there are no other imperfections.
