I get asked a lot what my favorite part of making leather goods is.

For me, it’s seeing the customer’s reaction when they get something I made for them. Whether it’s their very first wallet or, in this customer’s case, their eighth, that never gets old.

Another thing I really enjoy is watching the leather change over time. Every scratch, crease, and bit of wear adds character and tells part of the story. It’s always cool to look back at an older piece and see how much the leather has changed with use.

That’s one of my favorite things about real leather—it doesn’t just wear out, it develops character.
