Just some random paper on top of my keyboard 🎹 It’s funny how much my brand’s name actually fits me. I honestly don’t realize the amount of doodling I do, until I look around and see stacks of paper, unopened mail envelope, mirrors, walls, receipts, napkins with sharpie ink all over it. Not just at my store, but at my home, in my car, on my car, at my homies houses, on restaurant receipts, on random scraps of paper, in notebooks. A lot of it is silly/stupid but sometimes it’s a t-shirt ideas, an intentions, a poem-y thing, a statement, a self portraits, a weird animal, a new business idea, a really cool eye, or just plain randomness. It leaves my mind through my hand. Most of the time forget I ever did it. Sometimes I draw right when I wake up, other times I’m drawing in my bed on a massive cutting board with a dim light getting my chaotic energy out so I can sleep, sometimes it’s a quick doodle during a meeting, sometimes i draw with purpose hoping to create a new banger for a t-shirt, sometimes it’s a bunch of nothing to pass time, sometimes it’s to clear my head, sometimes it’s to fill it up, sometimes I strive for “perfection” and sometimes it’s all amateur hour. There is very little rhyme or reason behind most of it. People like to hear a story and a lot of times I don’t have one. At the end of the day I love drawing in my style. I’m so grateful for the people that flow with the vibe. I’m not everyone’s cup of tea but if you enjoy what I produce I guess there is a lot to look forward too as I am kinda endless! Seriously thanks to all the homies that support me by following my progress online, or visit my store in the Stamford Town Center mall, or snagging a tee at an event, or have a Dxxdle hung up on their wall. I’m a homie just trying to chop, bop and never stop. I’m not sure what the future holds but I think it will be pretty dope :)
