Today was "finish some cowls" day! Similar to an infinity scarf, these do not have to be twisted around multiple times when worn. My first foray into cables and I LOVE them! So much fun ❤️

I know it's been a minute since I posted or created anything, I took a much deserved break from orders and focused a little more on my own personal projects ❤️ enter, The Wendigo. This mythological creature or evil spirit (depending on who you ask) is a creature of first nations.
It has many embodiments, from cannibalism, greed, selfishness and excess all the way to harsh winters, famine, the destructiveness of unchecked capitalism and the horrors of colonialism. Said to live in the woods, they draw their victims away by calling out to them in the voice of a loved one or as the cry of a baby.

Happy January, stay inside and stay warm. It's getting awfully cold out there...
