Welcome to Tift's Mercantile! We're a boutique gift store with deep roots in Newaygo's history. Owned by Cynthia Hulst, Tift's Mercantile is named after her grandmother Iris' family, whose ancestors were among the early pioneers of the Newaygo area. Our logo pays tribute to the original Tift logmark, a symbol used during the logging days on the Muskegon River, celebrating the region’s rich heritage. Here, you’ll find unique and meaningful gifts that carry the spirit of our local community. Thank you for being part of our story—stop by and explore a piece of Newaygo’s history!
