As some of you have seen, I’ve been working HARD on creating my brand-new Kaytie Jo’s Creations website!
And when I say there has been A LOT of thought put into this… I mean A LOT. 😂
I’m not just changing how the website looks. I’ve been working through everything from how I upload and organize new products on my end to making ordering as simple as possible for YOU.
Here are some of the things I’ve been working on:
Guest Checkout — You won’t have to create an account just to place an order.
Customer Accounts — If you do create an account, you’ll be able to keep everything together and make future orders even easier.
Rewards Points — Earn points from things like placing orders, celebrating your birthday, and leaving reviews!
Favorites — Save the things you love so you can easily find them again later.
Recently Viewed — Because we all know the struggle of finding something cute, leaving the page, and then trying to figure out where it went. 😂
Better Product Options — I’m working on making shirt styles, sizes, colors, personalization, and other options much easier to understand and select.
Order Progress — I’m building a better system for keeping track of orders from the time they're placed until they're ready for pickup or shipping.
Requests & Messages — A better way to send me questions and custom requests, including being able to upload inspiration pictures.
Easier Spiritwear Shopping — Finding your school, team, or favorite designs should take fewer clicks and be MUCH easier to navigate.
Fundraisers & Team Orders — I’m also building better ways to handle fundraisers, team orders, personalization, and larger group orders.
And there is SO much happening behind the scenes that you guys will never see. 😂 I’m trying to build this around the way I actually run Kaytie Jo’s Creations instead of forcing my business to fit into a website that wasn’t made for it.
BUT — while I’m building it, I want YOUR input!
Think about shopping online in general — not even just on my website.
What is something you wish you could do when shopping online?
What is something you wish was just EASIER?
What is something a website does that you absolutely LOVE?
And what is something websites do that you absolutely HATE?
Seriously — tell me! Even if you think it’s something small or silly.
I’m putting all of your feedback into this because at the end of the day, it’s not just my website. It’s being built for YOU, too.
I’m still working, testing, changing my mind, fixing things, breaking things 😂, and then fixing them again. But little by little, it’s coming together, and I’m SO excited for you guys to eventually use it!
