End of the second day weaving my own homespun singles on this 4 shaft floor loom.

Im getting very proficient at tying knots.

Ive probably got over 6 hours worth of actual weaving into this, and because of the fragility of the warp (homespun singles that I apparently did *not* finish well enough for this) it is VERY slow going.

Ive discovered I really need a thin boat shuttle, and due to my lack of appropriately sized pickup sticks, I am picking through the sheds with a yard stick and beating the weft that way to minimize the friction from the reed on my yarn.

I have about the length of my hand x 1.5 woven.
At this rate I might be finished it by Christmas. Maybe.

Ps:
If you look carefully at the photo, you can see the direction of my twill change directions aboht halfway through where I messed up my heddle threading and didn't notice till it was all done.

I spent 4 hours floating around the lake yesterday and only put this on once.
Best part is you can literally see the lines where my fingers were and exactly where I missed 🥴

I do miss the fancy uv reactive bottles though.

Would make nice additions to a breeding program for someone just looking to provide food for their family.

Or goes really well with butternut squash and mashed potatos.

Just about breeding age or perfect stewing size.

Males and females.

No breeding pairs/trios

Litter was attacked by a rat around 1 month old so some are missing toes.
