Lots of new faces here so allow me to reintroduce myself. Hi! I'm Catie, owner of Little Light of Mine.

I am married to the man behind the scenes that makes sure all of our racks are screwed in properly, drills into the walls when I say I got this (but definitely do not got this) and stays up late tagging things with me. After almost 18 years together, we have 2 boys who are deeply loved.

I started Little Light of Mine 5 years ago when I felt called to be a light in this world. I've always had the dream to start my own children's clothing line but starting this shop spotlighting vendors from all over felt really cool too. I've always been a shop small kind of girl so the fact that I could open a store to support others all while providing items for you and your kiddos that glorify our Heavenly Father felt right.

Starting with local pop ups led to renting out the back half of another faith based shop which then led to my own little shop in Skippack! I was presented with what used to be a garage, oil stained floor and all and was like, "uh God, what? Why was I led here?" And God was like, "Girl I got you, just go." And so I went. I didn't know it then, but I would turn that garage into the cutest little store where your littles love to come play with magnatiles while you shop. This little garage has turned into a safe place for many. People coming in with prayer requests, wanting to bless others and telling me how much of a light this store is in the village. He truly did have me in the palm of His hand when He placed me here.

And he still does. Almost 2 years later and the beautiful stories that have come from this little shop have magnified my knowing we were placed here for many reasons. I love getting to know everyone that comes in the shop! Hearing your stories and the missions you're behind never get old! My heart bursts with gratitude everytime I close up whether we've made sales or not that day because I was chosen to be a light to you that day!

Serving others is my love language. Telling others Jesus loves you falls of my tongue daily. Singing loudly lifts me out of any funk. Being a Mom is the greatest gift I was ever given.

Every little thing you do matters, Mama. The piling dishes in the sink, the loads and loads of laundry, the staying patient when you're struggling not to and of course the endless love you have to give to your littles. It's all kingdom work.

I've learned we cannot shield ourselves during Motherhood anymore than we cannot shield our children from disappointment, anxiety, temptation or pain. But we can keep placing ourselves and our children in front of the Lord again and again.

Faith in Motherhood isn't something that we feel when life is good and when the kids are listening, it's showing ourselves and them grace when life is hard. And honestly, that's the kind of faith our kids are going to need to see while their learning about life.

You were made for this. You were chosen amongst all the others to be theirs and, you got this Mama!

"Train up a child in the way they should go and when they are old they will be not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6.

Come to the village tomorrow for our block party from 10-12! 🇺🇸

While the parade may be cancelled, Skippack Village is coming together for an Independence Day Block Party to keep the Fourth of July spirit alive and support the small businesses that make our community so special.

Here’s what’s happening tomorrow:

🚗 10:00 AM: Join our patriotic drive-through parade! Decorate your car and meet at Wawa before cruising through the Village together.

✈️ 11:30 AM: Keep your eyes on the sky for a special airplane flyover.

🔔 12:00 PM: Bring your bells and help us “Ring in the Sound of Freedom” as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday together.
