Sometimes the most beautiful pieces aren’t the ones demanding attention.

One of my favorite parts of gathering pieces for Vine & Vintage is imagining where they’ll end up next.

When I found this sweet vintage wicker rocker, I immediately pictured it tucked into a cozy corner with a warm cup of coffee, a favorite book, and the quiet rhythm of an unhurried morning.

I love finding pieces that have already lived a beautiful life and giving them the opportunity to become part of someone else’s story.

Years ago, as I was styling a small corner of my home, I found myself filled with so much joy. Piece by piece, an ordinary little side table became a warm and inviting space.

As I stood there looking at it, a question rose in my heart that I brought to the Lord.

“God… is this an unhealthy obsession that takes away from You?”

And so gently, He whispered to my heart:

“I delight in the details of your life. Keep delighting in yours. It brings Me joy to watch you find joy in the little things.”

I’ve never forgotten that moment.

That simple conversation changed the way I viewed home.

Creating a welcoming space isn’t about chasing perfection or collecting more things. For me, it’s about cultivating an atmosphere where people feel at peace, where they feel loved, and where everyday moments become a little more meaningful.

I truly believe God delights in the details of our lives.

Sometimes His goodness is found in the quiet moments… a candle flickering, fresh flowers on a shelf, a favorite piece of artwork, or a corner that simply makes you smile every time you walk by.

Those little moments remind me that beauty is a gift from the Creator Himself.

There are some finds that make me stop and think, “Maybe I should keep this one.” This vintage stoneware jug is definitely one of them.

I love its rich patina, timeless shape, and the warmth it brings to a space. Whether displayed on its own, filled with olive branches, or styled with seasonal stems, it’s the kind of addition that quietly transforms a room. 🤍
