This is a local ministry out of Cameron (good friends of ours) who is collecting supplies for the Hill Country. They helped out during last year’s flood, too. If you’d like to donate, I can meet up and get it to Amy or contact Amy.
Our Called2Go ministry is getting everything ready to head to the hill country to help in the disaster recovery & relief. We are packing our cases of Bibles to distribute and work supplies.
The officials have shared that this flood has risen higher and wider that in the past and there is a need for help.
We have already been in contact with churches that have been flooded and will be helping to clear out the buildings. One of the churches is one we just did our movie ministry in Kerrville two weeks ago.
Please be in prayer for everyone that is affected in these areas and the families that have lost their homes as well as loved ones.
And please, if you can help in anyway, we would be very blessed.
Items needed:
Water/ hydration packets
Work gloves/ rubber gloves/surgical gloves
Trash bags/ contractor bags
Ziplock bags
Paper goods/ toilet paper, paper towels, paper plates
Blankets/bedding
Laundry soap
Wipes/ soap/ hygiene items
Ready to eat snacks and food
Shovels, saws, rakes
Bright colored neon shirts/ vests
Heavy-duty, breathable rain jacket or vests
Headlamps / flashlight with a fresh set of extra batteries
insect repellent
Sanitizer
